McDonald's riverside clean up

McDonald’s feast of volunteering

More than 20 members of staff from the three McDonald’s restaurants in Maidstone have taken part in a riverside clean-up today.

Back for the second year running, the staff cleared and tidied the path between Lockmeadow Millennium Bridge and Archbishops Palace Gardens, as part of the company’s Love Where You Live scheme.

Their efforts have opened up better views of the river from the historic Horseway and Lockmeadow Bridge.

The clean-up was supported by the Environment Agency and Maidstone Borough Council.
