Maidstone’s most delightful outdoor venue on the banks of the River Medway close to the Lockmeadow Millennium Bridge and the Archbishops’ Palace.

It is built of brick and Kentish ragstone in the style of a Roman Amphitheatre and it seats 250 people.

The arena and stage are surrounded by herbs, roses and trees.

An area of peace and tranquillity close to the town centre, the amphitheatre is a popular place to eat, get-together or read a book during the spring and summer months.
