Gallagher Stadium is home to Maidstone United Football Club.

The riverside venue opened in 2012 and was the first football stadium in the country to be built with an artificial pitch from the outset. The main stand and terraces were extended in summer 2015 to increase capacity to 3,000.

Maidstone United play in the Vanarama National League, one division off the Football League. Attendances, which average 2,200, are among the highest in non-league football.

As well as football, the Gallagher is a popular conference, meeting and party venue.
